Firstly like most people I have an uncle, who is the adopted brother of my stepfather lol so not really my uncle :)
So anyway I rarely see him and the last time I did, he hair was longish and growing out. His german girlfriend has fairly short hair, much shorter than average for a woman. I was talking to my uncle and his story was that his girlfriend wants him to grow it long and if he cuts his hair, she will cut her hair off all the way. He related to me that when he met her she had a Sinead O'Connor sort of hairstyle.
I just thought this was amusing and I wouldn't mind finding a girl that threatened me with ultimatums like that :)
Anyone have a similar story?

Not quite the same thing, but I've got an agreement with a friend that whoever trims first buys the other a bottle of Smirnoff Blue.
She's sticking it out well and trying to grow her already long hair longer, but I think she's faltering cos she was complaining of damaged ends... hehe!
Yeah, my girlfriend has basically said the same thing (her hair is now approaching waist length.)

That must be great. My girlfriend's mother won't allow her to grow her hair past a certain length (shoulderblades) despite the fact that she's almost 18. Crazy conservative mothers.
