I've got two pictures of when my hair was wet earlier today. Quite wet, judging from the water on the back of my shirt. This should show how long it is, although it's not all that different when it's dry. My hair's a bit wavy, especially at the ends, but not enough that it makes too huge of a difference on the length. I imagine I'll be posting a pic or two of my hair in its dry form eventually, when it isn't really dry. (That made sense. Suuure it did...)
And the question. I live in Texas, near Houston. Does anybody know of any store types around here that carry jojoba oil here? I haven't really done any searching yet, but it'd help the search a lot if somebody knew of a good place to find it.

Here's the side pic.
Man you have awesome hair. How long have you been growing it out? Jojoba oil: I haven't tried that yet but I know that if you call any salon, just pick on in the book, they can tell you where to get it. Two places here in Denver have it for sure. One is a beauty supply place called Sally's--they're nationwide and when I lived in Houston (yup, from there too) they had those there. Also a national chain called Ulta. Give either of them a shot. I don't know what part of Houston you're in but you shouldn't have too much trouble. Hey dude, question for you. You said your hair is kind of wavy. Up here in Denver where it's dry mine's okay, but down there, damn it's more than wavy. Will the oil help to tame that? I've heard of guys using Jojoba oil, but I really never quite got why. Great pics man. Josh
Thanks. It's been around a year and a half now. Don't have any exact date, though.
I'm not actually in the city of Houston, technically. I'm in The Woodlands, up near Conroe. But I'll take a look and see if I can find either of those stores around here. Thanks for the help.
It doesn't actually seem like the humidity affects my hair that much, although I'm not sure of that because it's just now started getting really, really humid here. I suspect the oil might help with taming waviness, but I'm not sure. And the reason why jojoba oil's popular is because it's really similar, chemically, to the oils produced by the human body, which are good for the hair, of course.
Great Photos JumpJet. How long have you been growing?
Don't have an exact date, but it's been around a year and a half or so. I've actually only gotten two trims since when I decided to grow it.. Probably should've gotten more, because there're a lot more uneven hairs than I'd like, but overall it's still not too bad.
look in the phone book for health stores in your area. They usually care small bottles of the stuff (not like you'll go through it all that fast anyway).
