  I was reading your board, and read some interesting stuff.
  So, to share something with us, here you'll find (it it works) a picture of me.
  I don't know exactly how many time my hair is growing.
  Probably something like 19/20 month... I must have started near december 2002.
  Hair are not so long when i realize they are so many months... but i'm happy like that and it is still growing :)

  Posting this message, perhaps i can ask you a question. I made 2 month ago a red coloration on some part of the hair.
  There was a decoloration (leaving natural color) (very little, it wasn't on a lot of hair ) the first time. The next time, coloration on the hair without decoloration.
  I wanted to try it, but it wasn't well done. Anyway, it was an experience to do, and not to do again...

  Colour is leaving... and so, for the hair with coloration it becomes something like yellow/white. It's funny, but... special too.

  I was wondering :

  1. Leave it like that, with all the other hair it is "hidden", and let it grow ! Time will cover it, and it's not so bad

  2. Making a new coloration with my natural color on the part with color or on all the hair ? Not sure is a good idea.

  I don't want to "broke" the hair making stupid new choices...

  If you have something to share about this... I'll read it with pleasure. And sorry for my poor English...

    Hey man, your hair and beard are awesome! Just great! About the color in your hair, you could try to color over it to bring that hair back to your usual color. But I have found that the more I mess with my hair, with color, the drier the hair gets and the weirder it starts to look sometimes. Maybe some other guys on this site can help you out. I'm the guy who mostly runs to a salon to ask questions of those who are trained to work with hair. Perhaps you might do that. Thanks for posting your letter and your pictures. Where do you live? I'm in Denver, Colorado.

      Well, i'm "afraid" to add another color ! I don't want to get a bad hair ! Hairs are growing, colored hairs will leave naturally :) It seems to be the best solution for now... but, perhaps i'm wrong ! I don't know enough on this subject :)

      Maybe some other guys on this site can help you out.

      Who knows... that's why I was asking... i'll see the repies i'll receive :)

      Yes, I was thinking to do it... but first at all, i wanted to have more informations on what can be done... That's how i stand here :) I can talk much in detail with an hairdresser having more informations :)

    Your hair (and beard) are awesome! If the color bothers you I advise you to have a *professional* dye it to your natural color. I believe this will cause the least damage and will give you the best possible result. Thank for posting your picture and please keep us up to date.

      Thanks for your comment... beard is growing too, i trim it after 7/8 month of growth, but i'm going back again to this point slowly.
      I'll be ready against the cold in the next winter *joke*

      Your hair (and beard) are awesome! If the color bothers you I advise you to have a *professional* dye it to your natural color. I believe this will cause the least damage and will give you the best possible result. Thank for posting your picture and please keep us up to date.

      Writing as a professional Hair Dresser/Stylist, I would advise you to stop messing around with that beautiful head of hair. All chemical services damage hair, the worst being bleaching. Your hair looks great without any added chemicals. Your hair appears to be a bit greasy (oily), so let me advise you for treating this condition. Shampoo daily with a shampoo for oily hair. Avoid those cheap shampoos. Use a good name brand such as Panteen, Paul Mitchell and the like. You hair will thank you for it. When hair gets too oily it tends to give your hair a "flat"look with no body.

        Brushing them morning, evening, and 2 times in the day. They are thin, so i avoid nodes (? hoping it's the correct word).
        I'm using a comb (must find one with larger space) and a brush.

          You asked if daily shampooing is necessary. In the case of oily hair this is quite true. Reason, your glands that produce Sebum (an oily substance the keeps your hair from drying out) is over active. This mean the glands are producing more oil than your hair needs. The excess oil makes your hair greasy looking. Also excess oil can deposit on your scalp and create a dandruff like scale. The oil sit on your scalp and dries causing a flaky crust on your scalp. It should be removed because it can clog the pores of the scalp which interfere with normal hair growth. A healthy scalp is important for healthy hair. Consider your scalp as soil that grows plants. If soil is rich and is cultivated, plants grow big and healthy. Your scalp is the soil and needs care in order to propmote a steady, healthy growth of hair. I hope this answers your question.
