I collected my hair care experiences into a cohesive article and posted it on my website. I usually write technical articles about computers, so this is somewhat different for me. Comments are welcome!

Dynamite Hair! Your article is great! Your "site" fascinating! Need I say more? Very "artistic" Photographs.
THANKS!
I said it before I'll say it again you have incredible hair thanks for the tips.
That is a comprehensive and well-written article. I like the tip about using an eye-dropper to apply the vinegar. It will get more on my scalp and less elsewhere than using a cup. I am going to try 'finger combing' as even my gentle use of a detangling comb breaks a lot of hairs. You sure do have great hair!
My 'subtle' hair hazard is personal computers. I've already lost a few hairs to the edge of an open case and all those fans that give modern PCs their awesome power have the potential to grab a bunch of hair with nasty concequences to both the hair and the device that was being cooled!
Thanks again for the great article!
Ed,
An excellent and well written article! I especially like, "Leaf blowers - the air intake can become a hair intake."
I also find it very interesting that you shampoo every day and do not use conditioners. Your hair looks awesome in the photos so your technique must work.

Hello Ed,
Your article is well written, clearly organized and attractively presented. On top of that your hair is beautiful, particularly the natural color variation over time. The box fan for summer drying is an idea I can use so I thank you for that. It does remind me of another hazzard though, fans used in stores and other locations. There are some particularly large ones I have eyed warily at the Oakland airport as I protectively hug my braids to my body. Reading about chairs got a painful nod of agreement out of me. Velcro is another thing to be on the lookout for, braids are particularly prone to being grabbed and gingerly detached.
As a suggestion for the artcle you might consder emphasizing it is about what works for you and your hair. Just as you mentioned hair type being variable in the washing section it applies in restraining even more so. Hair with a different texture than yours is not as likely to get away with being loose all the time. Hair will scootch over my shoulders from loking sideways and not fall back straight behind me again. The very thought of the tangles created from an extended period loose has me wincing. You have lucky hair to be able to wear it unrestrained at your length. I am sure that many who see you are appreciative of that.

Hi Elizabeth,
I revised the paragraph on restraining hair to emphasize that it is based on my hair experiences. I agree with your comments about velcro and fans! Velcro was clearly not invented by someone with long hair...

Ed
