Folks,
This 1998 article in the Seattle Times online made me very sad.

Jonny Lang: bigger than he looks

Sad, but old news

Jonny is amazing, and it is very sad that he cut his hair. He was so sexy with long hair!!! But his haircut is extremely old news.
True and I guess his fans in the US knews about it long ago. But it was new for me, since I just bought a my first CD of his.
What concerns me more is the statement that he now looks like "a modern 17-year old" which implies that most 17 year olds in the United States have short hair now, and they are the future "standard bearers" of long hair, so does it mean that long hair on men is the choice of a declining number of people?
Anyway, as the saying goes, "Rock and roll will never die," I believe that longhair will always be around -- at times there will be less longhairs -- at times more.
Regards
Charles
