I'm somewhere around 6 or 7 months along in my growth and my hair is beginning to look long. I haven't trimmed anything, save for my bangs which my mother insisted I have thinned out a few months back. Anyway, the problem I'm having is mostly with my bangs - if I pull them down completely, they almost cover my eyes completely, but instead they curl upwards. I mean its nice to keep it out of my face but it looks stupid. Is this because I wear glasses, that they're forced to dry this way? What should I do about this? The same thing also happens in the back, a few clumps curl outwards, some curl in towards the front of my face, no matter how much I comb it still tends to look sloppy with the curling. I remember hearing that when the hair is longer it becomes heavier and falls more, but my hair is VERY thick and I honestly don't know if that means the hair will continue along it's path of curling or what. I'm starting to get pretty excited, when wet it's almost to the bottom of my nose and I can start feeling it on my back, the ears are covered..another question would be how long til I can put it in a pony tail? Thanks much guys.
Mike
Don't worry :) It will stay curly of course, but in a good way! Just think about other things and before you know it iwll be perfect. (it already is, but by constantly looking upon it you invent problems :)
It will fall down with weight, i have VERY VERY VERY thick hair and it has improved a lot (i think) with growth. I do not have any picture from this month but you can take a look at the progress there:
