Hi,
I have added a fourth page into my picture collection. I hope you like the images. Be warned, though, this page is largest of them all. I think there over 80 images on that page (almost 4 MB). :-)
I chose more "artistic" long hair images this time, rather than just cataloging different hairstyles with best possible view angles. The used "layout" is "old school": efficient, not pretty. :-) With different image sizes it seems quite jumpy...
I had three image sources this time:
o My old Creative VideoBlaster WebCam II
o Nokia 3650 camera phone
o Minolta Dimage Xt digital camera
Happy styling!

All of us here wondered what had happened to you. Glad to hear from you again. That is quite a gallery of photos and your hair which is now waist length looks great. What a great diversity of styles too.
The style with the red ribbon braided into your hair is quite interesting. Keep on growing it. Absalom
Jarkko, thanks for the wondeful update! You have great hair and it has really grown in this last update. Thanks for showing all those different styles. I especially liked the various ribbon styles as something I could try.
Well, ribbons are there just for the sake of experiment. I don't really like wearing them. I remember someone once asking to see braids with ribbons. The look is quite weird, difficult to make and difficult to make good looking. Those pictures in the gallery were the least terrible examples. :-D I'm happy to leave ribbons to girls and women...
Absolutely Awesome Jarkko. I love how you experiment with style and how well you take care of your hair. It is obvious how much you enjoy. Have you ever mentioned your goal length? or are you just letting it do it's thing?
Dawn
I am at my goal length, more or less: the waist, or the classical , length. Only took seven years to grow.. :-) It is fun playing with my hair, although I don't do it so much as before.
Jarkko
I thought classic length is to the top of the thighs. It is described as such on the long hair community board which is made up of mostly women. Anyway, whatever your goal length is your hair looks awesome. Absalom
Well how's that for a few feminine hairstyles! :-)
Na, only messing, they look great, I like the pic, the one of you wearing jeans and a red shirt, the hair looks awesome there!.
Really impressed by the length!
Wow! What a collection. :-)
Just Curious Jarkko, how many of those styles would you wear in public? I guess most of those are just for fun right?
I guess I can call my hair a hobby...
Half fun half for real. I have worn at least 50 % of the styles in public. Although not in all contexts. And I'm settling to a bit less extreme styles now, at the age of 32...

I absolutely love the "Thor" type hair. Blonde and straight. Very awe-inspiring!
I love the braided back ponytail. Surely you don't do these braids by yourself?
Hi,
Beware of the gods.. :-)
Most braids, yes. But I cannot do Dutch braids (an inverted French braid). And sometimes I leave also French braiding to someone else. It hurts to my arms to do by myself and the result is not very even. Also a very slow style to create... :-/

Oh my God you hair is simply fantastick!!! i love the colour.
Now i want mine like yours in the forst set of pics you know it resting on your sholders. Have you any advice because my hair gets very dry round the back and where it hits my sholders?/
help please !!
thanks
Thanks.. I'm not sure if I should be called a blonde. My hair is actually very light brown, or golden. (splitting hair)
I don't know.. Dry sounds actually damaged. And damage comes from mechanical wear&tear, chemicals , heat and UV radiation. Try avoiding them all. Be careful with you hair. I think a braid or a ponytail actually can lessen wear on the tips of hair. Don't put more chemicals to hair than necessary (washing and conditioning can be a good thing in moderation). Don't blow-dry with heat. Well, I go to sauna a few times a month.. Don't sunbathe. It is also bad for your skin..

Without a doubt, your hair is absolutely awesume! Trying different styles is fun............and if you have fabulous hair such as yours to work with......why not?
Thanks for posting all of those great photos.
You have awesome hair! And very nice styles too!
Ed
Very well maintained hair. Grats on having the strength to defy convention.
You're the only guy I know who can pull off so many very feminine styles and actually look good doing it. Well done, and grats!
