Today I tried VO5 Hot Oil Moisturizing w/Vitamine E.(A newer product put out by Alberto.) It was VERY impressive and the results amazing!!!!!! What a treat.! It was Heavenly...........but, what of the chemicals in it that may be harmful? Does use of this stuff somehow put-up a block to the "Natural Oils" being absorbed into the hair?
All I can say is that if you ever want a "quick fix" give it a try "after" reading comments that may follow this posting just to be sure. Hmmmmmm, Funny thing, but this Conditioner is applied 1st, left in 1 min., washed-out and then you Shampoo. (Compleatly opposite of what I have always done. The results seen and noted right away are absolutely fabulous:
1.) Hair has NO tangles in it at all!
2.) Hair seems to have built-up weight and seems stronger. (No snaps............NOT A ONE in combing.)
3.) Hair has a great shine to it.
4.) It is a BREEZE to comb! Unbelievable.
5.) Hair is straighter even after it has dried.
Please let it be known that I have always used for the most part Aussie products for nearly 2 years and have really pampered my hair so as not to damage it. I figured just a "one try" to see what this stuff does wouldn't hurt all that much............but then again, who knows? :-) :-( ???
If any of you other guys have ever tried it, perhaps you could let us know your reaction to this new product?
Also...........PLEASE............post anything negative about ingredients within this product. It just seems too good to be true.............and usually things that fall into this catagory end-up "not being" so good.

I concur. I found these vials (2 to a pack) in a walgreens discounted bargain bin, marked .99 cents each. Recognizing a great value, I loaded up! NOTHING "instantly" fixes hair as well as this product, as far as I am concerned. I have not cut my hair since Dec 15th, 2003, so it's been half a year now, and I have to use both vials at once. (Good thing I stocked up!)
Alberto V05 Hot Oil Treatments are a MUST DO, for all guys trying to "grow it out!"
Want something even better? Try Extra Virgin Olive Oil !!
Or Jojoba Oil!
Hi Justin i tried that stuff and to be honest it dodnt do anything for me !! how long did you leave it on because only a minit i left mine on fore ??
Sorry it didn't do anything for you.............what a bummer. If only it had worked for you. (Did you put the tube in a glass of hot tap water for a minute 1st? Perhaps that had something to do with it?)
I left the oil in for 1 minute as per the directions.

I'm dying to try it, but I can't seem to find anywhere where they sell it, I've checked a couple of shops. Can anyone point me in the right direction, I'm in the UK.
Thanks.
They sell it im sure or something VERY VERY simular.
Because I saw a "hot oil hair treatment" commercial on tv, I did something stupid many years ago. When cooking, I dipped the tip of a lock of my hair in some hot oil in a frying pan. I saw it make some foam, so I knew it did something to the tip of my hair. I washed the tip of the lock of my hair in water and found it was stiff, frizzled and wirey. I tried bending it and they broke off, sadly. So I never did hot oil treatment again.
If you try any chemical treatment of your hair, it's a good idea to try it with only a small sample of your hair to see if it helps. Because everyone has different hair, what may work for one person may not work for another.
Oh dear Tim, that was *cooking* your hair, not a hot oil treatment. "Hot" oil is only warmed in water or a moist towel microwaved then placed on the oiled hair. Frying temperatures will certainly boil the water insiode the hair shaft and ruin it.

Yes, I realized the oil was too HOT. LOL. Only warm oil could be helpful. I may someday try warm oil treatment.
