Here is a somewhat unorthodox hair length poll for all: What is the length of your hair based on the longest measured strand of hair you have shed so far? I guess I will go first. I have recently measured 2 separate strands at 44 inches in length. Absalom
I haven't measured the longest hair I've lost, but l am happy to say that for the first time when I lose a hair in the shower it sometimes gets wrapped around my finger which has never happened before.
"Average" for me would be right at 12" at present, with some hair longer (12-1/2") and some shorter (11-1/4"). Longest shed hair I have measured (which was a few days ago) was 11-1/2" long.
Haven't actually measured one but I would estimate them to be about 1.17 feet. I like being able to measure my hair in feet. :-)
ROFL! But watch out! Absalom has already weighed in at 1.22 yards!
Absalom should measure his hair in ACRES. :-)
lol, Im 20 inches behind you!
15.5 inches for me somewhere around 2 years growth.
I haven't measured this, but I shed hairs anywhere from an inch to three feet long. Its sad when a 3-foot hair goes!

Approx 15 inches, but maybe longer. I'm judging based on my laptop computer monitor. Whenever they fall out I hold them up to the monitor. And at roughly 30 months out from a very short "flat-top", I think that makes me about average, which is fine with me.
Absalom, Like to see more pics of your really long hair. Love your hair, man. Always love to see pics of the long length.
Eddie
I don't remember the longest. I checked my notes and found record of a longest fallen hair to be 75.4 cm or 29.7 inches. Then one I tried stretching got to 77.5cm or 30.5 inches.
