Well I never made any progress pictures but I put together a pic that shows how may hair has grown there are some gaps and jumps, i need to route out more pictures to make a better one.

Don't take this in the wrong way, but did you add fat on your face or something. It does seem you look a lot better with short hair. I don't know what it is but you look like some unattractive female more than a man. If there is something you can do with your hair without cutting that will make you look better than do it. Sorry I had to be truthfull try opening your eyelids and smiling a bit.
With all due respect Kenneth, I totally disagree. And to the poster of the pics, I can ASSURE you I'm not just saying this to make you feel better, after Kenneth's negative opinion (which he's totally entitled to have and I can't deny his own thoughts). But my opinion is that your face looks bigger in the first pic, and I think Justin was saying the same thing.
In fact, I really don't like the first pic-it looks kind of kind of annoying, like a rich kid who got to the caribean for his march break (with the striking tan and all), your long hair is MUCH better, now you look more like a free spirited metal head. But you don't need me to tell you this, it must be pretty obvious
And the feminine part, I'm just not seeing it....although some people may say that as a knee-jerk reaction to male's having long hair, I'm not sure.
Kenneth why post at all if you just plan to criticize. Nothing wrong with his appearance, in fact I think the pictures are pretty good, particularly the hair in the guitar collage. Why not post your picture so we can see if those catcalls you have been getting are being misinterpreted.
And if they were misenterpreted, I don't give a f***, that's just the type of person I am. However I have a good sense when someone is having fun at my expense. I keep my hair in good condition so I know they aren't making fun of me, I don't run on a ego trip. I will tell you what, when I get to 8 months, I will take a picture of my hair, if it will make you happy. I think most of the guys hair here looks great It was toilles whole look that kind of bothered me though. I think he looked way better in May of 03, than in Jan of 04.
I have to agree with you Kenneth, I think Toille does look a bit better in May 2003, I think if you lose a bit more weight, you could look AWESOME with long hair. I don't mean to overly critisize you, but I think if you lost just a bit of weight, you would look FAR better. I hope I didn't offend. As far as length is concerned, I think it looks good.

Yes My point was not to Insult you. It was to be honest and help you along. You could still look awesome with long hair, maybe growing a gootee will help.
Well the weight is sorted, currently I've lost about a stone and a half in 3 weeks (like 20 pounds). It will probably slow down now but i'll get there and keep you posted.
Long Hair automatically gives the "illusion" of a slimmer face when left to hang free. (I would hardly give a thought to it.)
Your hair is coming along just great and looks awesume on you.

You've grown excellent 'rock & roll' hair. Congratulations! Are you getting regular trims? What is your goal length? I think your 'progress pictures' are cool, thanks for the update!

I've not really had regular trims, I've had one since I started growing it, to even it out. I could use another one really now.
I'd love to have it past the small of my back. I don't intend to have long hair for the rest of my life but I'm enjoying it at the moment and cant see myself cutting it in the near future.

To clarify, is your hair straight and blonde? It appears so from the last pic.

No, I think that was just the light or the way the camera took it. My hair is dark brown but in the sun I can develop natural blond streaks. And yeah its fairly straight but I did have a big-hair stage but it wasn't as impressive as a curly :P I avoided cameras at that time and wore a lot of hats.

Well actually the reason my face is fatter in the later pics is absolutely nothing to do with my hair. I put on a LOT of weight over the last two years and have only just started to lose it, well over a stone in the last few weeks actually. Thats like 16-17 pounds for you americans.
To be honest though Kenneth I don't think that what you said is really relevent to my hair. I've never thought I've look particually femanine as I've got a large bone structure, wide shoulders, biceps etc and hairy :P. Personally I think the popstars/boybands look more femanine than anyone else and hey... they get laid right?
In the first pic I would be only just 15. I was young and fairly fit back then. And yeah I still tan like that lol. It was taken in Zanté in Greece.
Now I'm 17 and those last pics are taken from a couple of gigs with my band.

I was not meaning to insult you, that was not the intent. I just thought you looked better with short hair. There is nothing wrong with your hair, I was just saying there is something missing.
I didn't mean to sound insulted because I'm not. Unfortunately my body has changed irreversably since that time, back then I was built like a kid. Now I'm build like a man. I also don't grow a very good beard- when I've tried it the look really does not suit me at all.
