Yes I gave in... I couldn't take it anymore. I didn't really like my curly hair. The results are good, I think too good. Funny thing is, I think my hair is way too straight lol. My hair is really soft and shiney and it just flops around everywhere. I just think it is too straight now. I can't do anything about it until 72 hours. Then I can wash my hair and I will style it and maybe put some slight waves in it and some volume. Hopefully then it will look the way I will want it to. It should I guess, because I believe straight hair is easy to style so I will soon find out! I think within the first 10 days the relaxed hair loosens a lil bit so it won't be as straight to. I guess I got what I wanted. I just look so different. So i'm like trying to get use to it...hehe
I also got my hair trimmed. I had split ends(I had this before relaxing my hair, not as a result for relaxing my hair). I cut between a quater of an inch to a half an inch. Some hairs were more dmged than others. The hair on the back of my head towards the neck was cut so it can look a lil more even. so that the hair on top of my head can meet the hair in the back towards the neck more. About 3 inches were cut. It looked horrible when it was straightned. You could see a huge difference between the the hair on top and the hair on the bottom. Its hard to explain, but I hope you understand what I am trying to say. It's not all one legnth, but it looks a lot better.
I will post some pictures sometime soon.
If anybody has any questions of how it went and the whole process etc, i'd be happy to answer.
Sounds like it worked out really well for you. Pictures would be great. I'm curious- what was the process like?

Relaxed as in chemically straightened, using chemicals! Wow! Hope it goes well for you:-)
I'd love to see pictures. Does your hair break more easily now and do you have to give it special treatment? I'd love to have straight hair, too. How curly was your hair before you straightened it and which chemical did you have used?
