Vincent writes in his website:
"I don't believe in all the 'Oh but I want my hair to be exactly THAT way but it's too curly so I'll do all kinds of nasty things to it.' I really don't see the point. Your hair is your hair, why not accept it? It is so disrespectful to your own body to do that."
Vincent, that comment is a breath of fresh air. It seems there is an awful lot of anxiety expressed on the board because people want so desperately to look like "___________" (fill in the blank with the name of some cultural icon such as Cobain, or Aragorn, or lead-guitarist-from-"X"-metal-band, etc.)
Thanks Vincent, for some pure common sense and a cure for "Hair Angst"
if you agree then i don't have any more common sense than you, so thank you too!!

because yu have straight hair
its SO MUCH TROUBLE getting curly hair to look good, the easiest option is to straighten it
its the plain truth
you just dont understnad
the problems people with curly hair have with frizziness, etc, are 1000 times worse than frizziness in straight hair
you would have to have it to realize why we'd straighten it
What??!
I have straight hair?!!?! I may not have the curliest hair, but i really don't think my hair is "straight".
The ONLY REAL solution is NOT TO LOOK.
nope
that's not the point. if you look for defects of course you can find "rational" "reasons" to do things to your hair.
but you're free to do what you want.
