lol, hey you guys! i was like, kind of cleaning my brush out and i decided to measure one of the hairs and it was just beyond 4 inches!!! most of my hairs are about 3 1/2 or 3 3/4 inches, so...i guess that's all.

Looks like you've got quite a while to go then, like me. I recently measured a hair about 5.8 inches long a few days ago, well on my way to 6 inches in 6 months (6 and a half months to be exact):) How long have you been growing?
Are you measuring your hair when its dry or wet Surf?
Hey man, I measure my hair by pulling it straight when it's dry.
5.8 inches is as long as to reach the tip of my nose.

Looks good. Nice length on top for six months. But have you been trimming around your ears and the back? I don't think that part looks quite six inches.
But if you do have that quick of a rate, you will have some really long hair one day!
Thanks, Redleader, I haven't had a trim yet at all. The sides didnt show up very well there I think.
I don't think the sides grow as fast as the top and back, I thought everyones hair grew slowest on the sides, am I wrong? My hair covers my ears and hangs about 3/4 inch below them. The back can touch my shoulders if I pull it straight and that's without tilting my head sideways or backwards. I believe the back is slightly longer than the front, although I started with 1/8 inch all over.
Well, everyone is different...........but most likely the sides ARE growing just as fast. Just compare your earlier pics. (In my case, I "think," if that be possible) that the ONLY part of my hair that doesn't grow as fast is my Bangs.) But still, in less than 2 years even they are at 11-3/4" with 3 months to go. And this is starting from about 1."
You know............someone should "invent" a serum that when applied to the hair would make it grow 2' overnight.
AH! Only a dream.
My opinion? You are doing terrific.

That pic is a masterpiece of triumph! You have made such tremendous progress in such little time. Great! :-)
All these little milestones add-up and growing your hair out really gets exciting. I can well remember when I couldn't wait for my Bangs to reach my nose.........then mouth..........then chin, and now 4" below. (My Bangs by the way are the shortest part of all of my hair in general.)
What do I think? You're doing fantastic! You're happy........and for good reason. Probably the way I felt.
Keep it up. It only gets BETTER!
