so i have this jajoba oil and i have used it before but i only left it in for like 15 minits, so nowonder it didnt do anything. So how long do i leave it on for about an hour ?? and then how do i get it out. I thought i would condition then shampoo and then condition what do you do ??
After I wash and condition my hair I put a few drops of Jojoba oil in while it is still damp. Too much oil will leave my hair greasy so I just use a few drops rubbed on my palms which I then run through my hair. I leave the Jojoba oil in my hair. Jojoba is reputed to be an oil that is most like natural scalp oil.
I do the same thing as Gollan...put a very, very little bit in my hair (only a few drops) while it's still damp then let my hair air dry. Or, if I'm using my flat iron, I wait until after my hair is dry and ironed, then a put a bit on.
Okay, okay. So much for the "Jajoba" bit. The others on this board may not like what I am about to say, but it is working the best ever for me. You have extremely great hair to work with and perhaps might want to at least "try this?" (It's like a dream come true.) Even better!
STEP #1. Get some Alberto V05 "HOT OIL." (Comes in 2 tubes to the box.) Put one tube in a glass of hot tap water for 1 minute. Wash hair. (Water only.) Work the Hot Oil in and let it stay for no longer than a minute. Wash out.
STEP #2. Shampoo with "kids" Shampoo. (You will notice an instant "lathering-up" the likes of what you wouldn't believe!) Wash out. Towel rather easy to about 3/4 dry. (Now for the "fun part!") Run a comb through the hair and notice how EASY it goes. No tangles, no snaps. Even though wet it is looking straighter and better than ever before. JUST AWESUME!
STEP #3. Let the hair "air dry." When hair is "almost dry" give it a nice spray of Aussie "HAIR INSURANCE LEAVE-IN CONDITIONER." Comb and style and you're done. Hair never looked or felt better! And the shine!!!!!!!
If you DO try the method I am presently using once per week (which is how often I do my hair), I hope you will write back and let us know what you think of the results compared to that "Jajoba oil" which so many are raving about. (Wonder how many of them have tried the Hot Oil route?)
One last thought...............you might want to just "dampen" the hair slightly the 2nd day and give it some more Aussie. After that the "Natural Oils" which are the BEST of all will be doing their thing.
Try and enjoy! Really........it is Heavenly and such a treat! :-)
Thanks soo much i will give it a try
