I have this wild long hair, that sometimes goes every which direction. It is straight yet Waivy. I know it comes from my ethnic background. I am Cherokee, but sometimes I can't stand my hair. I am not ever going to cut it again. I have been growing my hair out for a couple of years now. I wear my hair in Pigtails and a Ponytail alot, but I usually just keep it out of rubberbands. How do some of you guys take care of wild hair?

I guess I know what you mean I have similiar hair, the answer to taking care of wild hair is basically:
Conditioner, Conditioner Conditioner.
Whether you use posh salon brands or something like Jojoba Oil, using some form of conditioner is the best ways to tame and detangle your hair so you can take good care of it and avoid damage.
As for preventing it from annoying you, I think you already have the solution, tie it back. Loose hair is for good hair days, bad days revert to the ponytail :-)
