Is it possible to reduce the # of K an image has? B/c I've got photos ready off a camera, but they've gone over 50K. Anything is more than helpful.
Reduce the resoution of the Picture.
To do this is The default Paint program. Open the picture with Microsoft Paint. Get into Image than into Stretch Skew, reduce the size by 25 percent. Than check the size. Keep on doing it tell its under 50 k.
There are better programs than Microsoft Paint.
Photo Editor
Photoshop
Corel PhotoPaint
Paint Shop Pro
All allow you to save images as compressed JPEG's which allows you to reduce the Filesize (KB) of an image as well as reducing the bitmap size (pixel dimensions) as Kenneth Describes.
There's also always Bill's Photo Resize Utility:

You can indeed! Go into Microsoft Paint, open the picture. If reducing the size does not work, try changing the file type to something like .gif or .jpg or .jpeg. This may mean some loss of quality, but it doesn't really matter that much, as long as we can still get an idea of how long your hair is, etc.
