I really like the long hair that is a part of this medieval look. I receive the "Museum Replicas" catalog and while they have a lot of medieval collectible items, they also show a lot of guys with longer hair. It's great, but I guess guys with long hair in fantasy TV and movies is quite common too. I would love to have hair like this, especially if it was straight.
I read a book recently that included material on the Merovingians, a Frankish dynasty that ruled from the 5th to the 8th century AD. They are relavent to this discussion because they are often called the "long-haired kings" by modern historians because all of their leaders were forbidden to cut their locks.

Speaking of medieval longhairs, I'm going to be working at the Texas Rennaissance Festival this October and November. I'll be helping run the booth for tryouttoys.com and doing my contact juggling. Anyone in the Texas area, come hollar at me!

That'd be the booth with the juggling sticks, right? Should be pretty easy to find if it is.
