I was lying in bed last night, just playing with my hair, and I tried parting and pulling the bangs back, and they stayed behind my ears!! I have been growing for little over 6 1/2 months, nearly 7 in a few days time:) I can get 95% behind my ears, and they stay there all day, the remaining 5% stays in position as the weight from my hair keeps it there.
I'll post a pic with my 7 month update in 5 days time.

Agreed. I Finally feel like I'm coming out of the awkward stage. Its taken almost a year and a half... (don't want to tempt fate) but you sound like your progressing much faster than most, certainly much faster than me. Its great when you can finally get a little liberty from your hair and feel like your accomplishing something.

Thanks Sorted, I admit the hair behind my ears thing looks rubbish right now but I have discovered that I have enough length to do so. I bet in another month or two, it will cirl all the way down the back of my ear! Can't wait. I think my bigest milestone is when I can finally but my bangs in my mouth. That will be one major milestone, and I'm nearly there, another month or just a bit more to go.

I stopped putting my hair behind my ears at the beginning of this year because of the curve it was making on each side of my bangs. Curve's not so bad now it hasn't been put there for 6 or so months.
