Hi guys.
Apologies for not posting in ages - been very busy and barely a second to get a breath these days.
On the plus side I've just been promoted and given a chance to treble my salary over the next year, hence all the working.
Hope you're all keeping well, I've missed your advice and help, and just missed you generally too.
Here's a quick wee update on my hair status :)
Because of all the working, I haven't had much time to spend paying attention to my hair - hadn't even conditioned in the past 2 weeks til today, when I realised and treated my hair to aussie shampoo, conditioner, and a 3-minute miracle. Also got some conditioning cream cos the lack of attention had made my hair start to frizz a bit.
Happy overall with condition and style... growth seems to have slowed a bit this month, at just under an inch so far, but hopefully now with the extra attention I'm giving my hair, it'll improve over July.
Here's a wee update pic, early though it might be, as I might not get a chance to post at the start of July.
I'll keep popping in - as ever, any comments are welcome!

We are about the same length, I think you're ahead of me slightly.
I'm now where you were at your last post you could put your bangs behind your ears, remember me saying I couldn't yet, well now I can:)
The back seems to have evened out with you, the cross layer layer at the back has disappeared, and it's looking great!

Glad to hear you're having the joy of 'behind the ears stage' too - and it starts to look better every day now instead of worse.
You'll have to post some pics soon - haven't seen any of your pics since shortly after your avatar pic!

Thanks for the update. Your hair looks great. I like the waves. They will continue to enhance your hair as it gets longer. The photography is *very* good. How do you feel about entering the awkward stage?

I'm not too worried about the next stage of the awkward phase. I think that the worst part is having it shorter than mine - at least from here on there are things I can do with it, like put it behind my ears, and in time have a half-tail then a ponytail.
I've even been toying with the idea of a topknot (samurai style) just for kicks.
Also, now that my hair has some weight, I have stopped putting any products into it once washed, so the condition won't take a hammering.
In all, I think this is the worst over for me. It looks a little less like curtains every day... I'm just getting a little impatient.

Great Progress with the hair mate, looks great, really manageable and under control. I'm begining to think you've done this hair growth thing before. ;-)

Thanks for the comments. It feels really new, even though I did grow my hair before. Probably cos it was so long ago now and I was much younger... don't even remember the awkward stage last time.
That's probably a god thing though :D

Your hair is looking better all the time. Your hair should grow out very well with a minimum of problems since it is nearly straight. BTW just under 1 inch of hair growth in one month is very fast growth. Absalom
Hey man, is it me or did your hair just take a turn for the better? It's long! It looks great!
Congrats on the increase. What kind of work do you do? I have to admit living here in the Rocky Mountains, Denver, I know next to nothing about the economy of Ireland. Is it stable? Are such increases to be expected? Is it a pretty expensive place to live in? Just curious.

Yeah, my hair's starting to feel much better now, and it does look better than it did.
I work in media - editing, lighting, sound, camera work, animation.
The economy of Ireland is very stable. Here, up north, is part of the UK, so our economy is linked with Great Britain. The south used to be less impressive - I remember the days when we'd take a drive down there and the raods would be full of holes and stuff.
Now it's pretty much the same as up here.
I don't really know much else about the economy, sorry, I guess I just take it all for granted :s
