Ok that hair looks very good on you. Your the guy who lets his hair do what it wants naturally correct? Do you use any brush or combs at all?
Nope, I haven't used those tools in a while

Great hair, totally. But I gotta ask, do you have a job? Most of us guys on the board aren't as lucky as you so far as keeping the hair wild and free. I'd love hair like yours, man, I really would, but there's not way I would have my job if I did. Mine's longer than yours, but it's brushed and kind of neat. Damn, I'm jealous. Seriously, are you a student or do you work full time? It would help me to know cause I just don't think too many employers would be thrilled to have a dude with hair like yours. I love it, don't get me wrong. I really do, and damn, I'd hire you in a flash. But most employers wouldn't and that's why I wondered if you have a job, if it's full time or partime, if you're also a student, and what kind of job you have.
Here's a little different take from Georgiaboy. First, you have incredible hair. It is thick, shiny, seems very healthy, and it has reached a length beyond awkward stage. But, the "wild look" as GB calls it, would drive me nuts, employers aside. I look at your hair and wonder just how long it will remain healthy as unkempt as it is. Doesn't it matt? And with the matting, dirty etc?
You are otherwise a very handsome young man. What are you after with this look?
All judgments are mine, for me, not aimed at you.

Yes, it is matted. Natural dreadlocks are starting to form.
But why would it be dirty?
I'm not after any look, i never look in the mirror and take those pictures mainly to see the funny hair progress.
haha, don't worry.

I was hired as a programmer until december, I haven't really loooked hard for a job yet, since I'm going to school.
I'm planning to work at natural (real) food stores, or something like that.
It's neater when it's tied in a ponytail though (except i forget to "maintain" it so it ends up all weird with half of the hair fallen out of the tail *sigh*)

dude just keep doing what you are doing your hair looks great, how long do go want it to get,but damn i like it bye Cody
I'm not entirely sure i understood the question
but if that's what you wanted to know, i dont intend to cut my hair again

Very nice, and you're doing your part to keep from screwing around with our planet. Kudos!
It may just be the photo, but it seems like there's a lock forming nice and round right near the front of your hairline.
Keep it up, and in 30 years we'll be hearing about some new guy getting in the guiniss book of world records for longest hair! :D
That "Ball" Guy
Oh, actually, that's my non natural lock from a while ago... Non-natural as in I made it by more or less backcombing with my fingers... The first locks are starting to form at the back of my head, probably due to the greater curliness of that hair, and all the friction from sleeping... There is one medium sized one and a few tiny ones (which are of course impossible to see on the pictures...)
haha, I don't think I would want to encourage tree cutters ;)
thanks

Hmm, mistyped the url i guess
vincent, great hair (and beard)! I have to admit I *really* like the 'wild man' look (if I didn't have to work for a living I'd never shave or trim my beard again). I have a lot of respect for you for sticking it out through the awkward stage and for taking a stand against combing. BTW, do you ever 'finger comb' your hair? Thanks for the update!
thanks for the kind words all
No. My girlfriend sometime does that and it hurts :) It doesn't seem very effective as a knot prevention technique!!

Gotta Agree with Gollan, the wildman look really suits you Vincent. Plus you seem to smile a lot more in your more recent pictures, I think your happier as a longhair.
Sorted
Hey Vincent-
The longer it gets the better it looks! (Here is a superb example for those always crabbing that their hair isn't straight and thinking because of that it looks bad.) A+ proof that hair doesn't have to be straight to be killer great hair! And you've got it. Thanks for sharing the pics with us.
Justin
It looks great, I can see the dreads starting to form, looks wicked!
Vincent,
Thanks for sharing your mane. It looks incredible for being au natural. I know a lot of people who would kill to have nice long locks like that. I hope the natural locks compliment you well in your adventure.
ck.
wow! It really gives some new hope for me. I'm jeolous now. :) I looks really awesome. Keep it up!
