On my way home from work today I saw a man on a motorcycle with a neat braid coming out of his helmet, down his back, and about 6 inches back on his seat. I wish I had had a card to hand him. It would have been so convenient to do.
That's about knee-length or more when the hair is loose, isn't
it, Victor?

Perhaps mid-thigh. I should comment also that the braid was still fairly thick (about an inch) at its tip.
