Hi i just wondered..
1. Is there people on this site with really long hair like really really long down to your knees and have wanted short hair but to afraide to cut it because i know people with short hair want really long hair ?? if that makes any scense !!
2. I really dont know what to do about my hairs length. because my ideal hair length was sholder length but seeeing all you men with your waist length hair and telling me my hair would be there in about 4 years i dont know what to do ??
well i know it is a long way off but has anyone got any help ??
Just keep growing until you reach a length you're happy with. That's what I did.

Sorry I can't give my 2 cents worth about question #1. But as for the 2nd question I think that you yourself will have the "gut-feeling" as to how long you REALLY want your hair to be. Sure, in the stage that you are now many questions pop up about length and what you see posted. (Normal.) Just be yourself and do what makes you happiest. You have killer great hair at the moment of which to be proud and looks great on you. So, for help, that will have to come from within. But thanks to this Hyperboard when feeling vulnerable it is always a blessing to get opinions in moments when you are not quite sure within about what to do.
Please remember that the comment I'm about to make is that of only one persons opinion. "The longer your hair, the more stunning for you!"
It is really strange for many a "longhair." They at 1st set a goal..........let's say Shoulder Length. When they achieve that they expand a bit in thought and decide on short of mid-Back. But then when that is reached they want it to waist length. Hair is a VERY powerful force to we Humans regardless of length. EVERYBODY, (well just about) is ALWAYS concerned about their hair..........be it Man or Woman. And just about everyone always wants something they don't have.

I dunno - I can't really relate to that exactly but I can say this: I'm starting to become nervous of my next trim. OK I'm not trimming for a while, but I know that a some point I will have to trim again, and that my hair will probably look better for it. I'm not looking forward to it though and I'm very nervous about it, fortunately its 4-6 months away.
Well not everyone on the board is going for waist length hair. There is no need for you to think this is what you have to do either. I'm growing until I reach shoulder blade length, then I'm going to get it evened out a little. At that point I'll consider where I go from there. But I doubt I would ever grow my hair longer to my waist.
