Today I went to work (Unfortunately I very much hate this job) Installing satelites and while I was there this girl kept saying she would cut my hair for me. Hmmm? Okay why would I grow it out for it to be cut lol? Yet she was flirting with me the whole time I was there. What would you guys say this is a case of??? seduction maybe, or a way to get me to cut my hair? Well I don't change my image for anyone, and I personaly like myself more than girls lol. If you don't like my image or anything about me, well then I don't like you very much either. I am also growing the beard out like you guys wanted me to do, and she was asking me if she could atleast cut that. Well you know what I said lol.
Hmmm. What to do? How about flirting back? Don't take it too seriously. If she wasn't threatening you, and obviously she wasn't, she was trying to make conversation. You could have countered with a smile and "so, you like my hair, do you?"
But only if she was your type!
Robert :)
That darn space traffic makes for a long commute. :-)
Let It Grow....For Get Her
Hey Dwayne-
Think she has the "hots" for you and is flirting like mad. When you think of it, NOBODY would spend this much time to a person they are finding so much fault with. (Unless insane.)
Now for your answer to her: "Sure, I would LOVE to have you cut (or trim) my hair, but I haven't decided yet how many years from now that will be."
If she still stays around after this retort it means you have her extremely fascinated ...........and for good reason too! Many Women LOVE guys with Long Hair!!!!!!!!!!!! They get attention like crazy! And your hair IS something to be proud of. (More like be in awe of.)
Ah.................the fun of having Long Hair.

Well, there are are a few possibilities . . .
1. She is very obsessed with cutting hair. Suggested Response - as much distance as possible
2. She's flirting with you, and figures offering to cut your hair is a cute way to go about it, though she actually likes your hair long. Suggested Response - if it strikes your fancy, flirt back, but keep in mind she must be using those scissors to chop off a few of her own brain cells . . .
3. She's flirting with you, and figures offering to cut your hair is a cute way to go about it, though she really does want to cut your hair. Suggested Response - as much distance as possible
4. She's the reincarnate of Delilah. Suggested Response - as much distance as possible, lock your doors at night, and be on the look out for reincarnates of Philistines. A donkey's jawbone may be required
5. She's been sent by a secret society of people who hate men with long hair. Suggested Response - as much distance as possible, lock your doors at night, watch for the glint of scissors in the gloom, and contact your local branch of Schizophrenics Anonymous
ROFL That is absolutely hilarious. You have a great sense of humor !!!!! Absalom
Another possibility is she may be trying to get you to pay the cost of your installing the satelite system: She gives you a haircut or other service of value, then she offers to not charge any amount but instead you pay the bill you would normally send her for installing the satelite system.
Good for you, I admire your individuality. It is great that you think outside the box. It shows real character and strength. It also shows that you are an independant thinker and can make your own decision as to your hair and beard instead of conforming to some predetermined society standard. For the most part you will find that longhairs tend to be fiercely idividualistic. Most will not be swayed by pressure from others to change their appearance. Best wishes, and keep it long. Absalom
Perhaps the girl's a hairdresser and enjoys cutting hair!
