Hey guys, I have been coming to this site for a while but never posted anything.
About my hair, I have been growing it since about late October last year, its about 7 inches right now(this pic was taken a month ago), so is that about normal or is it growing faster than normal? I like the waves and curls in my hair, I have straightend it before but it did'nt look near as good. So what do you think?

You hair is thick, curly, and very nice. It looks to me like you're already past the awkward stage. What is your goal length?
I will probably grow it untill I am forced to cut it, but I would like to get it down passed the sholders, and about upper-mid back.

I basically have the same hair type as you but not as long yet. Judging by your progress, I'm looking forward to my hair getting longer. I would probably still prefer my hair to be straightened now and again but i'm excited nonetheless.
It looks like you've been experiencing what I'd like to call the "Big Bang" theory in the middle of the akward stage. I've been experiencing the same thing when I let it loose than putting it behind my ears. Still, looks sweet.
You definately grow faster than the 1/2 inch normal.
It's definately starting to look long now!
That looks like excellent growth since October. I'm with you on the waves and curls, you have just the right amount, and they're even enough all the way around to look great.

Nice to see you Tommy, your hair is certainly growing at healthy rate. The curls and waves give you a really neat look - so I'm with you there, but I have one critique - it stems from your reply to Gollan's question about how long you plan to grow your hair.

I'd say it's growing faster than normal. I've been growing my own since early september, and yours seem to be longer than mine.
It might have something to do with my curls too, I suppose.
My bangs double in lenght when I pull at them.
