Hi there this is my first real post in this board.
I read a lot about your problems and the solutions.
So I decided to ask you for good looking male hairstyles which don't damage my hair. Just an ordinary Ponytail gets boring in time.
My problem I that my hair is very thick and curly.
Do you have any styling idea?

Wow your hair kicks ass! Since I am Cherokee, I like to put mine in pigtails. I also french braid my hair. I know ponytails get boring sometimes, but have you tried the ponytail that leaves the back loose? Those look pretty kick ass, and I usually do that one alot. Leaving your hair wet looks cool too. I also did one like the loose back ponytail where I got another rubberband and pulled the back hair back like a double ponytail, and I tied both ponytails together with another band. looks really cool. I also did the doubled ponytail and just kept it like that without adding a 3rd band. You can see that style in my pic above this message. I will give you more styles in time :)

My problem is that I am a very bad "Braider" So I always need someone to braid my hair. Unfortunately I am single :-)
Sometimes I try to imitate Legolas that looks pretty cool too.
I like the wet-look very much, especially in summer, but it only looks wet for one hour. And then it just looks stupid.
I like the idea with the third hairtie. I think I'll try it tomorrow.

I have curly hair myself, and am interested in growing it down (not out) like it looks you have achieved with yours. What determines how curly hair will look when it is longer? Does anyone on this board know how this works?

When I started growing my hair it seemed even much more curly to me. But now it's long enough so the curls tie out because my hair is so heavy. Just the ends keep on curling :-)
But I think that's normal.
How wide is the spectrum of how "heavy" a person's hair is? Also, it doesn't look like your curls are very tight either. My hair is acting very strangly at this point, and it is decently curly in the front while in the back the curls almost don't fall at all and just "clump up". Is this because it is shorter in the back or because it's not resting on my head like the front? I generally dislike my curly hair because I want it to grow down and I know that is less likely to happen for me. But your hair looks pretty far-reaching there. My sister's hair is like that, and she says it's "wavy" instead?
Your hair is incredible just like it is. Don't mess it up by trying some new "style".
