The TV in our front room didn't get turned off last night, and there is a religeous thing on there. Anyway, there is a guy singing with shoulder length grey hair and a black beard.
There is some kind of religious show here where there's always some guy singing (he's a bass!) and he has waist length white hair and a beard of the length and color to match it.
I wonder if you could be thinking of William Golden from the Oak Ridge Boys...
