Hey guys, I have been using herbal essence shampoo and conditioner for my hair primarily because it smells so good. But people have told me that it's not too good for your hair. Can anyone recommend a good salon quality product that is both good for your hair and smells good too? Thanks guys.
Well, a lot of the guys here champion the Aussie Moist line of products. I've used Aussie in the past, and have had relatively mixed feelings about it, though I can't say I've ever touched the "Moist" products, with the exception of the conditioner. In the past, I used the Biolage shampoo and conditioner, and found the results pleasing, to say the least. Right now, I'm using Brilliant Brunette shampoo and Aussie Moist conditioner. I also have elbow-length, straight brown hair, so what works for me might not work for you, and vice-versa.
I started out with the herbal essence products to because I liked the smell. But after a few months my hair started to dry out pretty bad so I switched to the Aussie moist products. I have been using these for over a year and have great results.
i really like and recomend Dove Heavy Moisture shampoo and conditioner, its what i use. a little but more on the expensive side but its worth it
and one that i reccomend you truly avoid is VO5, those are HORRIBLE
cool screen name by the way man
i highly recommend anything in the aveda line...they are more costly than products you can buy at a drug store or walmart, but i feel they are worth it. however, i use their styling products, rarely their shampoo.
i vary my shampoos and conditioners...right now, using physique shampoo.
and i too love the name you've chosen for the board.
welcome!
