Can anyone suggest any products I could find in Britain that could help my problem?
Thanks.
try some jojoba oil...that stuff, when used in moderation, does wonders.

I don't see any split ends in that pic. Infact I don't see the ends of your hair at all. If you're talking about all of those little hairs that are sticking up, those are not split ends. Those are broken hairs. Everybody has 'em. Not much you can do about it except be very careful with your hair. Or smooth them down with some gel or something.
I agree with these statements. Split ends are ends of individual hairs that are split in two or more pieces, forked like a snake's tongue. What your pic shows is that you have many new hairs, or broken hairs, that stick up. They do not appear to be split. No need to worry about them.
I'll add my voice to the previous messages, what your photos show is not split ends, just new shorter hairs or broken hairs. You can smooth them down with a little Jojoba oil or a leave in conditioner.
Some of those shorter hairs might be a result of broken hairs, but most are just regrowth (new hairs growing after others fall out).
To see if you have splits, we would need to look at the ends.
The only thing to solve actual split ends is to trim them above the split. NOTHING can fix splits after they happen, but you can help to prevent them.
you do however have broken, frizzy hairs sticking out. Do you let you hair air dry?... this can exasperate frizzes in some cases- try blowdrying on cool or warm on a low setting with a brush. Do you use a leave in conditioner? hhmm in the uk id say paul mitchel 'the cream' is a reasonably heavy leave in which may tame your frizzes, or the styling glaze is also good. Jojoba oil is also good but on straight hair like yours it can look a bit greasy and you'd need a fair amount to tame tho's hairs.
