Hey, could anyone poat some pics are give me websites with long hair gothic pic. I'm not goth are anything, it's just they have the coolest looking hair, in my opinion. I'm asking this cause im getting a haircut (still long, just a different shape) Thanks...
Well, I AM a goth, so here are a few pics of your's truly. And thanks for the compliment. I'm like my hair, too.
hehehe
And here's a site I enjoy frequenting. They feature two goth male models who have beautiful long hair:
There are several outfits they sell for men that I desparately want to add to my wardrobe some day.

Nothing cool about dying your hair black to look like part of a group. :)
...and unfortunately a lot of goths do this.
Yeah, i'm going to dye it black. It's just that black looks good on anything in my opinion, I Forgot to mention that my hair is shoulder length. So I like to some other pics with shorter hair...Thanks.
Wow, okay I already think I posted enough pics of me, but not in goth.
My father's ancestry traces to an area within an hour's drive of Transylvania, and yet I'm totally not Goth.
Go figure.
I love the gothic look with the exception of the short bangs that some goths have.
Pale skin/dark hair - most attractive to me!
A lot of girls I know look beautiful with the combination of pale skin and dark hair, but to be honest they scare the hell out of me!
I must admit, I've got a bit of a thing for goth Women *blush* its a really beautiful look.
Problem is all the Goth girls I've spoken to have been insanely morbid, I don't wish to generalise, so I won't, but is lightheartedness and smiling permitted if you're a Goth?
I guess I'm just not attractive too them, being non-gothic so I'm being blown out, pity, but I'm not about to dye my hair black and rip out my wardrobe just so I can be part of the clique.

While it's true that a lot of goths dye their hair for the sake of completing their "goth uniform", most do it because it helps them more completely embrace that part of themselves that likes to dwell in the shadows.
We goths are shadow-dwellers, after all. For an explanation of the term, and the single most well-written, un-biased, accurate description of our subculture and its origins, that I've ever read, I very happily refer you to the link below.
Thanks Nyghtfall, that was a really useful link. Its one of those "Everything you wanted to know, but were afraid to ask," kinda essays.
I understand considerably more about Goth culture now, its certainly made me realise what I have in common with it and what I don't. I share the disillusionment with soceity, political 'spin', and success driven culture. Though I'm more of someone who likes to challenge it openly in the limelight rather than subtley in the shadows.
Again thanks for such an enlightening link.
Sorted
I am goth and after reading through that I must say it was probally the best article I have ever read. It was very well written, thanks for sharing Nyghtfall.
Fascinating link.
OK contrary to what I said before, maybe there is a little Goth in me after all; just not enough for me to identify as one. And sorry about the Transylvania remark.
Funny, I felt no insult by it. Ah, well... no worries, eh?
Its cool when your hair is naturally black though. But of course this is just another one of those cases where it seems like the grass is greener on the other side. We always want what we dont have and dont appreciate what we do. oh well.
This is a link to the photo gallery of every registered member of NetGoth.org.uk. Most of these Goths also attend the annual Whitby Goth Festival, Britain's largest Goth get-together:
And this is the link to one of those members' personal web site. Her photo intrigued me well enough to want to see and learn more of her. She's easily one of the most beautiful Goth women I've ever seen. Every thumblnail image on her web page opens up to a larger image.
