hi, this is a out of topic question that it have me very interested.I´m not english, and you often use "Lol". I don´t know what it is, if it´s a word, a diminutive, a english expresion or anything else. so , here is my dilemma, what is it?
thanksss
It means "Laugh out loud."
Whereas "ROFL" = "Rolls On Floor Laughing"
There are degrees of hilarity in Internet Shorthand
roofles
LOLSKATES.
ROFLCOPTER!!!1111
And in extreme cases of hilarity, ROTFLMAO - Rolling On The Floor Laughing My Arse Off (or Ass if you are American)
There's that, and you can always make up your own ones. I've seen some insanely long ones, that I only know what means because they start with rotfl (or rofl).
Doesn't it actually mean "Laughing out loud", as laugh out loud is more of an instruction to the other person, who may not find it funny. If the person finds it funny, he writes LOL or "Laughing out loud"
'Grammatical' has two 'm's in it. Please don't judge me !
I greatly appreciate your accuracy and concern about what's right.
I won´t do it, you are right with the correction
