There seem to be growing numbers of guys--like Clarko, PaleHunter, and TommyTurbo--who aren't on the site regularly any more. Treyn signed off about two months ago. Reviewing pics in the users page, it seems like a lot of these guys have gone away. Anybody know where some of these guys are? Is there an alternative long hair site that is pulling some away? I always enjoyed the posts these guys--and others--placed on the Board. Josh
There is a constant turnover here...like anywhere. Kind of reminds me of the club scene where every year is different but people keep saying this it's just not the same this year.
Being a topic specific site it will only keep someone's intrest (usually) as long as they are themselves growing their hair. There are a great many things that are more pressing and come up to take your attention from day to day. This only seems to increase as you get older. Some people come and go as they have time for or remember that they haven't been by in a while. Others want more out of the conversation than just "what kind of shampoo do you like" and lose intrest if there isn't really much to talk about in regards to hair.
I'm glad that it is emphasised to stay on topic because I have seen other boards which have been made irrelevant by people wanting to talk about anything and everything but the topic of the board. This becomes difficult when people become bored or too many new people ask too many of the same questions
...but what can you do other than roll with the changes....it always changes, just like people do.
Don't woory guys, I am still here, I have just been very busy, I am juggling, school, job hunting, taking care of my mom, ect.
I look at the board every day, and I post sometimes.
Catch ya later. Tom
Maybe a virus or technical failure knocked them off the internet. I've been having problems and Dell Computer, McAfee, USRobitics, Earthlink, etc. have never been of any help for me. I always have to spend hours and hours figuring it out myself. Please, NEVER buy a technical support contract from a computer vender or software company: they are in the business of not answering the phone, that's if you can find there phone number then a virus corrupts your modem.
