Hi Guys
I was sitting at the bus stop a few days ago whilst I was out doing a field study for work and there were a couple of people walking up behind me and I turned round. I heard the one say to the other "I thought that was a woman". I had a similar experience once when I was out walking and there was a little girl with her parents and I heard her ask her dad "why do men grow their hair long?" which I thought was rather amusing.
Also, there are too many people called Mark here so I've renamed myself RainMaker. The choice of name is because I always joke at work that I can summon rain and thunderstorms at will and, while everyone else hates them, I love them, so they've nicknamed me the rainmaker!
I love rain too. Since it is hot as Hell in South Carolina, the rain is very relaxing. I only hate rain when it is very cold outside during the winter. Thing that sucks about South Carolina is even if it gets below 0, which is very rare, it is even rarer to snow. I love the snow too :( I like rain more though :)
It's hot as Hades in Georgia too. South Georgia on top of that!
What's it like for you living in the "Deep South" with long hair? I think it's a bit more of a challenge putting up with nasty comments and judgemental people about one's appearance than in other regions of our nation due to the somewhat "back-wards-ness" of the South. (And I can say that because I was born and raised here, but can see the forest inspite of the trees)
My hair's only about half as long as yours according to your recent pictures posted, but your length is about what I'm shooting for. The picture with just the top pulled back looks real cool.
Hi Insane Dwayne. Yes I really love the snow. I live in the United Kingdom (so many, many miles away from you lol!) so we do get snow sometimes. I like it when the wind blows through my hair too on a crisp, winter afternoon.
