Don't know if anyone here will really care, as I didn't get much response when I posted about this before, but I had to cut my hair for a movie I'm making with some friends this year. I will probably grow it out again once filming is completed, and since my hair grows so fast and I understand what I'm doing so much better now, it should be okay.
Well thanks to everyone who gave me advice or was willing to talk, I really appreciate it. I suppose this whole hair cutting thing should be getting me more down but I'm pretty depressed as it is lately and so this isn't even taking much affect. Good luck to the rest of you.
I too cut my hair just an hour ago, I got a WWII period haircut, and yes, it's "the Hitler." But don't worry, it looks normal and it's nothing to do with the man, he just had a good haircut.
Wow, I didn't see this post until now. Well I am sorry that you cut your hair but it was absolutely your choice. You are going to live your dream, and that is a big sacrifice you took. It shows you have alot of leadership, and people like us can't even bare the thought of cutting ours off. I know you didn't want to, but if you want it long again will you cut it for another movie? I respect you for telling us before time was due, and I hope you grow your hair back soon.

Yeah, long hair was something that I definitely wanted, but I want to be involved in movies even more, and I just couldn't do the part with the hair I had. If I grow it long ago, would I cut it for another movie? If I needed to for the part, then yes. But after this I will definitely try and go for some more "long hair roles" heh heh. Anyway, thanks for your words of advice.

You must look decent with short hair then because if I ever cut my hair, I'd be the ugliest boy in the school once more lol.

Your hair will keep growing (hopefully), patiently waiting for the time when you stop cutting it. Go persue your dream, and if

I'm sorry you had to cut your hair for filming in a movie. But, please remember to say "No" if they ask you to cut your wrists or crash an airplane into a building.
But really, I wish you luck with the movie and hope you can grow your hair long again if that is what you want to do.
