Hi Guys
Just wondering who out of all the posters here play musical instruments (not just the guitar, any musical instrument)
I play all keyboard instruments and bass guitar.
I happen to be wanting to learn how to play Bass. I am also learning how to play The Flute (Native American that is. My Band is a new type genre I happened to name this genre Native-Metal) My band which I have founded I write the songs for, and we are called Psyconatics.
Played drums for about a year now, so not incredibly good yet.
Would also like to, at some point, take up bass- and regular guitar.

I play classical guitar. I've been taking private instruction for 10 months now. My short-term goal is to establish a classical foundation, and use it to branch out into other genres, with an emphasis on progressive rock. My career goal is to become a session guitarist.

I play Trumpet & keyboard instruments as well as a bit of guitar.
Guitar for 6 years or so. I also have a keyboard but I'm not too good at that, I usually just use it for writing songs to avoid guitarisms.
I play guitar and bass, and keyboard when I have too :). Nice studio you've got there. I've got that same Behringer mixer in my studio.
I play the Trumpet.
I play keyboard on occasion.

I've been playing the violin for 8 years, I play the viola, tenor saxophone, guitar, and just started learning piano. I'm 17 and really hope to be good at the instrument. I've been playing for about 4 months and I believe am fairly good.
I play in my county orchestra, violin being my main instrument.
This summer I've spoken to my mam, and I will be starting the 'Cello in less than 2 weeks :) I am SO excited :p
I just love music!!!!
Piano (Classical through Ragtime, also have a side business as a Piano Technican (Tune/Repair/Restore).
I've been learning guitar for the last couple of years. I used to play a bit when I was in my teens but for some reason I didn't play until about 2 years ago. Now I'm trying to learn properly.
I like to play acoustic picking stuff like some Led Zep and unplugged Clapton and I like electric guitarists like Steve Howe from Yes, Andy Latimer from Camel, Alex Lifeson from Rush, Jimmy Page, Ritchie Blackmore and Nick Barret from Pendragon amongst others.
Cheers

I playy bass as well, and some rythm... also sing my own stuff, some pearl jam and soundgarden :)
Wow! lots of musicians out there - glad to hear so many people love music. How interesting it would be to create an internation band bought togather by one common thing - our hair!
I play mainly instrument synth music although I am working into doing more progressive rock music since I joined a progressive metal band a few months ago. I've played bass for about 9 months and I'm not too bad at it but I've been playing keyboards for 16 years.
Thanks for all your replies and best of all, enjoy your music and long hair - always two of the best things in life!
not sure if i count or not,
i write and sing metal, i'm also learning to play guitar and i play bongos (its my way of releasing stress)
Hey, I play acoustic guitar, electric guitar, and I am currently taking piano lessons. I must say, I like piano better than guitar, although, guitar will always be my first love since it's the first instrument I ever learned.
I'm what you might call a concert percussionist. I don't play any drum set, really.. Haven't even touched one for a couple years. But I actively participate in concert and marching band at my high school, and just yesterday I got home from a week long band camp.
