I haven't used anything in my hair, after washing, for about a few months now. Before, I would spritz some styling gel in after towl drying. While the feeling of zero chemicals in my hair felt good, I've slowly become more and more annoyed by how frizzy it looks by the end of the day. With frizzies comes an annoying head of hair.
Yesterday, I complimented a co-worker on how terrific her hair looks, and asked what she uses to keep frizzies at bay. Her response? Leave-in conditioner!
So, I decided to pick up a bottle last night (Clairol Herbal Essences - Light-weight Formula for All Hair Types). After washing and towel drying my hair this morning, I spritzed some conditioner into it, and it still looks and feels as good as it did this morning! It's so much more maneagable and defined now!
Ooooh, yeah, me likes leave-in conditioner!
Thanks for the tip! What kind did you pick up?
Suave works just fine for me :) I tried Herbal Essence too, and wow that stuff is good too. My 2 favorite shampoos.
I've had good results with Infusium 23 leave-in and Aussie Hair Insurance.
I use Aussie shampoo and conditioner is the Aussie leave in pretty effective im thinking of trying a leave in and would like to stick with the aussie brand if possible?
The Aussie is great. I don't think it could replace a regular conditioner completely, so I use both, but your hair could very well be different.
Hi Nyghtfall, the right leave in conditioner can be worth its weight in gold. I use Matrix Biolage leave in on my hair and it works very well to control tangles and even knots. Absalom
Yes..........I have found it a great thing also. I put an added amount at the tip ends and it really helps with the gravity of having the hair hang straighter. Plus............it protects those ends which one doesn't want to snap.
An "All Win" situation!
