is the personals board still in existence? i can't seem to find it
If you follow the old link, it re-directs you to Yahoo's longhair personals. I think they gave up on it because it was lightly trafficed and duplicating the work of others.
Not exactly. The personals board was created in the first place to keep those sorts of posts off of this board. I personally am not interested in them. Then we started getting way too much spam. Countermeasures for the spam work effectively here but require the work of active moderators. That wasn't happening at the personals board, so I opted to replace it with a link to a more active personals board.
