my hair is touching my shoulders in the back, and a bit below the chin in the front... and i've noticed (especially around the bangs/forehead area) i have quite a few "short" hairs around. i'm a bit nervous, fearing that somehow i'm breaking some of my hair... i've been using a ceramic flat iron lately (not too often, once every three days or so), could this be causing it? or are these just new hairs replacing others that have fallen out? i've been using garnier fructis lately because they said it would strengthen the hair...
also, with using the flat iron, my hair goes pretty frizzy the day after... is there any way to avoid this, or is this just my hair's reaction to the flat iron? i have pretty thick wavy/curly hair by the way. thanks for any responses!
The short hairs are just replacements for ones that fall out. Dont worry, this is always going on. In my opinion, the Garnier Fructis line does help hair somewhat. I have no idea about the flat iron, I gave irons up.
I use a bit of jojoba oil after flat-ironing my hair and the frizz is pretty minimal until I shampoo again three days later.
