Hi everyone,
I just discovered this web site quite by accident. Anyway, I have extremely long hair (about an inch above my belt line). I've been thinking about cutting it, since I'm a SCUBA diver, and it's a mess after a day of dives. Also it seems that women tend to like shorter hair on guys. What does everyone think? I've been growing my hair since late '92 so it's kind of become a part of me. Any words of wisdom out there to help me with this struggle? Thanks!
Tim
wow dont cut it i bet it looks great.........there are alot of women out there that love long hair guys dont give up........cant you braid it when you go diving? .....i enevy you mine hair is about down to mid back Im going to grow it to my waist if it will grow that long. feep your long hair you will find the right women youll see.
Tim, keep your hair as long as you like it. Be true to your nature and your wants, and you will eventually find someone who appreciates you as you are. I had a rough time meeting people when I first let my hair grow, but I've been with the same man now for four years and he loves my hair longer and longer. Now he's growing his out as well. I agree with "me" that braiding your hair will probably help.
Moises,
Your email does not work.

Are you leaving in the spaces? It is Moises the Man@aol.com, simple as that, and I get e-mail every day, so I know it's working. If you want to e-mail me and that one's not working, you could try me at work: stageman2@yahoo.com Sorry for the inconvenience, Steve!
Spaces in the E-mail address?
An AOL user-name that's more than ten characters?
Naw, it can't be happening; at least not for an AOL e-mail address.
They've made a change. Now we can have up to 16. With spaces.
My emailer does not allow for spaces in the name!
You have to enclose in angle brackets and quotes, like this:
Moises the Man <"Moises the Man"@aol.com>
Don't cut it! Think about why you grew it in the first place and the fact that maybe it's the authentic you. Trouble after scuba diving seems like just one of those small prices to pay for looking and feeling unique. Besides, long hair is the trend of the future, you'll see. If you're still thinking about cutting it, follow the advice of others I've read on this site--wait two weeks and see if you still want to keep it. It sounds like you do. Good luck either way.

Keep your hair long and be true to yourself. There are plenty of women out there who love long hair on a guy, as I'm finding out. If you're really not sure, do what others on this site have suggested and wait at least two weeks before cutting it. It takes a LONG time to go back! Another thing to consider is that long hair is going to make a big comeback in the next five or so years, just wait. Good luck either way.

The dive instructor who certified me in scuba had long hair and kept it in a ponytail when he dived. It was however, only about shoulderblade length. If you dive a lot, maybe consider getting it cut just to make it more managable day after day. But if you can handle it, I'd go ahead and keep it.
