Hi,
Perhaps a question for older posters but I had been quite worried about hairloss and have very slightly receding/thinning hair at the templesmainly. I tried a well known solution which contained minoxydyl for 3 months but started to get chest pains, shortness of breath etc. I stopped and the pains went away within a week. I'd rather go bald than have heart damage obviously! There is no need for perscription in Aus for this medication. It was a 2% solution. I am now not so vain and accept that a little bit of hair loss is nothing to be worried about after all I'm almost 30 and others younger have had it worse than me (Know a guy who went bald at 19!!)
I have heard of other people having these side effects from doing a little web digging but was wondering if anyone here had heard of them and if it was longterm damage to heart etc?
Matt.
Some thinning of the hairline is *normal* as you enter your thirties. It is not always a sign of pending baldness. I learned this as my hairline thinned out slightly between age 29 and 30.
