Its unbelievable but, twice in 24 hours I have received positive feedback on my hair. Two of my Girl Friends both independently complemented my hair.
The first one was the best: She said:
"I only see you ever few days, and each time I see you, I'm looking to see how much more your hair has grown, its really nice, much better than mine."
I refrained from pointing out that she wouldn't notice much difference day by day and just thanked her for the compliment. I also told her that I thought her hair looked great, and asked what she was worried about. She then showed me this test whereby you twist your hair into a sprial and hold it in place between our finger and thumb. With your other hand rub up and down on the sprial with your other finger and thumb, the more hair that tufts out the more damaged your hair is. Interesting?
The other compliment came from another friend who asked me how long I was going to grow it. Well I don't really know so I gave a vague guesture with my hand, her husband pointed out that my hair was actually now longer than hers, so I quipped: "Yeah are you jealous?" just jokingly. To my surprise I got a really genuine response, she said: "Yes, I am, your hair is really nice!"
So this has altogether made my weekend. Right now I need to find a method of deflating my head so I get out of the door and share my smugness with the world. lol!
Naw seriously, its really nice to have positive feedback, its so much better than the stick you have to take during the awkward stage and when you first decide to grow it out. It kinda makes it all worth while.

Sure is nice, I agree! (Lucky for me, I had very little negatives the whole time growing mine out, and when I got one gave the most "kindly" of sarcastic remarks that left them with nothing more to say.)
Sure does make the whole trip worth while. Looks good, feels good and inside a great satasfaction of joy.
Funny, but with added length seem to come even more positives.............and we are STILL little in numbers compared to most guys.

Isn't it a nice feeling when you have longer hair than another woman who loves your hair! I can imagine so. I'm sure you'll get many, many more as the future nears :P
