Is there anything wrong with someone being "gay or some thing," in your opinion? If so, please keep it to yourself and contribute something more encouraging or substantial to this board, who or whatever you are and personally like. I'm sure there are other forums instead of this one that thrive on pithy insults. I don't think this is the place for that.

My comments are offered in a constructive, friendly manner as part of this community -- gay, straight, bi, ambi, quiestioning, neutral or whatever -- we all have our own reasons for lking or being longhaired men. Please respect that.

As a gay longhair, I assure you that we get no more support for our long hair from the gay community than straight longhairs do from theirs. As longhairs, we are just about the only minority that both isn't supported at home and can't seek the refuge of a closet to hide in. We're very visibly "out there" 24/7 everywhere we go, and where else are we to turn, but to each other?
