Hi everyone, i want to know how can i make my 2 years long hair look almost as it was short hair but with no cutting it at all. I mean like disguising that i have long hair? Are there any braid techniques sites with illustrations on how to make it? any other ideas? wigs maybe :-P ? continuing with the post about the travel i have to do to hong kong, i want to show them that there is an alternative to not cutting my hair. thanks for the support

Consider tying your hair into a Bee-Butt Bun. This makes it very compact and from the front it will look short. The hair on the sides will be above the ears and the back will definitely be off the collar. In my experience hair length rules are not about hair length, they are about control. Good luck.
Try wearing your hair inside your shirt. sounds too simple to work, but when I was at school in the 1970s and ollar length was the rule, one boy in our class did just that for his last 2 years at school.

When I had to hide my hair (in what seems now another world for me; it was many years ago) I used to tie it in a ponytail, tuck the ponytail into my shirt and pull the outer layer slightly off the tie so that it would roll over the shirt collar and look like it was just below the collar. An alternative would be wearing a baseball cap, tucking the ponytail under it and holding it on place with hairpins.
A Linux Longhair
My hair is not that long now, about 6 inches, but I get good results at work by slicking it back with gel. I know the stuff's pretty nasty to the touch, but it's the best I can do for another 9 to 12 months I figure before it will stay back in a full tail.
