Hey guys,
I'm new to this forum. I have grown hair (longest) just below my eyes and everytime it gets that long (and I intentially had been trying to grow it) I shaved my head! Cause I got sick of it. But now I have decided to completely grow my hair permanently. The thing is, I shaved my head and never cut it since then, so all the hair is the exact same length. It's not long now (down to my eyebrows) but because the back is the same length it looks long. I obviously don't want to keep my hair this way, so I was wondering how do I, I guess, level my hair? Should I wait until the front reaches down to just below my chin and cut straight around (the back would be short). What do I do? - confused.

I'd personally wait until the front reaches sholder or chest level, then get it all levelled off, if I wanted it all to be at the same level.
I've reciently got my hair cut short because of a failed undercut. I've decided to go with having all of the hair the same length, so that natural layers develope.
Forgot to mention that I'm going to have it as long as possible.
Do nothing whatsoever. Given a long enough time the hair automatically has a way of just falling into place and looking well. (Perhaps a slight trim after 2 years) but otherwise just let your hair do its thing. And..........it is the quickest way to achieving Long Hair in the shortest amount of time.
Good Luck
just let it grow like that
my hair is all the same length, I don't see any problem with it

I started growing almost a year ago under the exact same circumstances, so I have the same thing going on with my hair at about 6 inches length. I've given it a lot of thought and decided to let it go. It looks layered, thin, and flips easily in the back and on the sides, but I can't see losing that length just yet. I've basically resolved to let go, at least for another 6 months, until I think I can tolerate losing the length.
