Hi all. I'm getting ready for a trim. I'm checking for a salon in Richmond, VA. The thing is I feel like my hair is a mess with some tangles and stuff. This salon was recommended on the International Long Hair Club site. When I make the appt. should I get my hair washed/conditioned as well? Will they do that already? I definitly need some serious help with my hair as the stylist will see. I'm hoping it won't be too awkward of an experience, but I've got to get a trim or do something. Maybe when the stylist sees my hair she'll know what to do, if I should get it condioned beore it is cut, etc... I'm planning on getting 1 and a half inches cut off. It's nearly mid-back right now. Haven't had a trim in two years! The thickness is tough too. I like it thick and want to keep it thick, but still want it to be a little more manageable. It is a pain trying to put it in a ponytail because it's like this big bush on the back of my head. Your help and encouragemtn is appreciated.
