Say, did anyone see Saturday Night Live this week? David Bowie was the musical guest, and it looks like he's letting his hair grow. That Bowie is a chameleon! :)
Bowie di have long or longish hair in his early days and at one time he spoke about a "Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Long-haired Men" SPCLM.
It would be great to see what a longhaired Bowie looks like.

Take a look at the liner notes for the CD re-issue of his 1970-ish THE MAN WHO SOLD THE WORLD -- it's got him with mid-back wavy hair, and in a dress. He looks great!
Yes, Bowie did have long hair then though it was rather layered. Earlier on, he had a fuller head of hair, though it may not have reached down as far as his layered hairstyle.
