I've been told before that as your hair gets longer, the needs for it begin to change, and things that used to work fail to work anymore. Does anyone know what exactly this means? And why and how does your hair change as it gets longer? I'm a bit confused.
dont worry about the future; if the needs of your hair change, you will see it and adjust at that time
there is absolutely no need to think about the future
take care

Mine hasnt been short in so long I dont even remember. The only thing was, short hair, took far more effort to keep neat. Long hair just holds itself "down."
Now if you want to talk about travel, thats a different story. The difference in water hardness, chlorene ... eeefff!
If its dry and frizzy, apply conditioner. If its getting greasy like hold off on the conditioner. Theres no formula, try different shampoos as well.
Sid,
Vincent's succinct reply does get right to a point in which
(as you probably already know) your hair will grow slowly
enough for you to adjust to changes that may take place
due to hair length. However, I do like to think about
the future :-)
Changes that I have gone through include a different comb,
more finger-combing, less brushing, loose ponytail for sleeping,
more ponytail holders to protect my hair at work, more
attention to the ends of my hair. There are probably more.
These are subtle changes that occurred over time.
I believe what is more relevant is your hair may change the
older you get (grey, different texture, quantity) rather than
the longer your hair gets. :-)
