OK,
A question. I am growing out my hair from 0 (shaved head). Do I trim along the way, or do I just grin and bear it for two years and wear a hat?
Steve
grin and bear it. take care of what you have to minimize damage & split ends. trimming will ultimately set you back.
I did the same thing.I shaved my head bald with a Bic razor sep 97 with intent to grow new healthy long hair. You will eventually have to trim it. Waiting to long to trim it will either give you frizzies or split ends and it just plain won't look to healthy. So my advice is find a beautician who someone might recommend to you.And get it trimmed NOT cut. Some places are scisscor happy so make it your point that you want long hair.Probably get your first trim in 6 months then
about every 4 months therafter. Trust me 2 years from now would you rather have silky shiny hair that girls look at and get jealous or would you rather have a tangled stringy very uneven mess. 2 years later even with periodic trims mine is 4 inches below my earlobes and
it looks happy and healthy,oh yeah dont forget to use a good shampoo and conditioner,I like TIGI moisturizing it leaves 0 tangles and sometimes I like my girlfriends Thermasilk moisturizing when I blowdry
(which I do very carefully by stopping before its completly dry to avoid over drying) so good luck take care and happy growing.
i went a full year before i got my first trim and i didnt start with a shaved head.........why would anyone shave his head anyway why would anyone want to look bald haha thats like having wrinkles put on your face so you can look old
