Greetings all, I don't post much but I read a lot.
I went through many post but never seen anyone mention about towel wrapping their heads after a shower. I'm just starting to grow my hair (it's about 4" now) and I do get the frizzies. When I use the towel, it seems to help out a whole lot, and I put on some gel before I put on the towel. seems to work OK.
I wanted to check with you all if that was OK? My hair is also kinda curly, and puffy if I don't put any gel in...
Some longhairs find that putting their hair up in a towel causes tangles that are difficult to comb out, resulting in damage. I always do it without problems. If it works for you, why not?
me, too....everyday
I have curly hair too. I use to wrap my head in a towel after washing my hair and I keep the towel until the water stops dripping from the hair. Then I let my hair dry - I do not use blowdryers or anything else. The drying may take a couple of hours, depending on the ambient humidity. That might be a problem when I have to go out on short notice if I wouldn't be well adapted to cold weather - I can go out with wet hair in the middle of the winter without any problem.
