my hair is EXTREMLY curly and it grows EXTREMLY on the slow side, i don't think it's ever going to reach my goal length (waist), ive actually been considering Hair Extensions, yes i know it's technically cheating
i just can't stand my hair this short anymore, i want my long hair back
i'm wondering whats all your opinions on them? are they worth it?
also a diffrent thing, not so much a question but the bald spot from when i had it ripped out just will NOT grow back, its getting me so frustrated as it's SO noticeable and im self-concious about it, i have no clue what to do about it anymore, is there any chance that the hair follicles couve been permanently damaged?
Hair extensions are generally made of synthetic fiber and they knot and tangle something fierce. Can't say I recommend them.
My girlfriend owns a salon in Miami that does them regularly. Most are real heman hair not synthetic. They are attached in several ways. Braiding of your own hair at the very end near the scalp then a "hot wax" applied to bond it. They are very time consuming to install and the result when done by a professional are terrific. The dopwn side is when you remove them they can cause damage and loss of hair. It also is not cheap, most good extensions of any length will run from $500 to $1,500. Do your homework on this befor you try them.

Hi cant say i know much about extentions !!
But what i would try before the extentions, mabey straightning your hair because i dont think it does you that much damage if you use heat protecting products. And about your bald spot well mabey you could try styling your hair differently like a diffeent parting or well mabet tyr to comb it over the bald spot. Well just experement before you do anything drastick.
Hope you are OK and find a soltion.
