Does anybody have any input on how to comb hair after washing it?
When I get out of the shower I usualy slick it straight back to
keep it out of my face.My sister on the other hand parts it in the middle and starts to work out the tangles that way.But it seems to me like their would be more breakage.I first use a detangler/blow drying brush then I use a wide tooth comb.I always use conditionerin the shower and want to prevent breakage and have very healthy hair. My hair is very straight and about 3 inches below my ears in kind of a BOB style Im shooting for a little longer than shoulder length and
who knows maybe Ill keep going!!!
i use a wide tooth comb when im still in the shower it seems to work better when my hair is wet as it can be......i dont blow dry at all
I comb it before washing, then let it dry (I never blow dry it) and comb it again. I get thus almost no tangles on my longer than mid-back wavy hair.

My hair is very fine and breaks easily, so I must be very careful with it. After I shampoo and condition, I spray on Infusium 23, which helps detangle, then go through a combing process that starts with finger combing, then a wide-toothed comb, then a finer comb. I always start combing at the bottom and work my way to the top. Sometimes, I just finger-comb for a looser look.
Also, I find brushing easily breaks my hair, so if I brush, I just roll the brush over my hair rather than running it through. this works well and doesn't break hair.
